Current Covid-19 Updates

Dear valued Guest, 

As we hear of the high numbers of Ontario residents testing positive for covid-19, we are bracing for provincial restrictions. 

This page has been set up to communicate with you regarding covid and the status of Vettä during these times. We will be updating this page as the situation unfolds.

Reservation Cancellations & Refunds:     

If you feel unwell or need to cancel an upcoming reservation, please email or call to speak to one of our Guest Service Team.

Refunds typically take 5-7 business days to process. 

Following the provincial requirements, Vettä Nordic Spa will require everyone visiting the spa to provide Proof of Vaccination (POVAXX) using their enhanced vaccine certificate with QR Code as of Tuesday, January 4th. Vaccine receipts without a QR code will no longer be accepted as valid proof of vaccination.

Please note: We are currently operating at less than 25% of our capacity. As per the provincial mandate, Saunas & Steam Rooms are closed from January 5th to at least January 27th, 2022.

If you have already booked within the time mentioned above frame, a member of our guest’s services team will be contacting you directly.


Vettä Spa Pools are open in a booking window until January 27th.

Vettä Spa pools & relaxation, hot stone, and salt scrub rooms with restrictions are being offered at a reduced rate of $69 + HST until at least January 27th, 2022. 

New time slots open daily Book online for the best selection and last-minute cancellations. 

If you do not see any availability online within the 4-week window, we are sold out on that day. 

Registered Massage Reservations are still available to book on our website.

Massage and Vettä pools and facilities as per above are being offered at a reduced rate of $199 + HST until at least January 27th, 2022.

We recommend guests can check online within three weeks of their preferred date for cancellations or new additions to the schedule.  Guests will receive a receipt for health insurance reimbursement.

If your email inquiry is not answered above, we will respond within 48 hours, Monday-Friday. 

Please note. No one who has booked will lose their money due to a covid cancellation or provincial lockdown. We will need to address every reservation with a rescheduled date or refund. We ask for your patience as we move through the bookings, and please know, we will be in touch. 

Here are some current Covid-19 details

  • We are not taking Covid-19 lightly
  • As of January 4th, QR codes for proof of vaccination will be required
  • We are spacing out check-in times to avoid crowds
  • Masks are required outdoors when you are unable to social distance
  • We are releasing availability slowly as we monitor Covid-19
  • We are cleaning frequently in high-traffic areas
  • Hand sanitizing stations are provided throughout the spa
